Don Moody, age 69, of Coker, died March 23, 2011, at home. Services will be 12 noon Saturday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Moores Bridge Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace Moody Mitchell and Roger Moody.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Moody; his daughters, Sarah Gann (Jerome) and Margaret Mills (Byron); his son, Robert Smith (Amanda); and his six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Byron Mills, Jerome Gann, Holden Gann, Chris Burnett, James Smith, and Brian Mills.
Honorary pallbearers are the staff of the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office.
