NORTHPORT – Eddie Turner, age 68, of Northport, Ala., died December 4, 2017, at his residence. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2017, at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gretta Turner.
Survivors include his daughters, Dana Watkins (Jerry), Hokie Turner (Brad), April Boswell (Charlie), Kimberly Pasco (Sam) and Heather Marroquin (Carlos); son, Randall Turner; brother, James Larry Turner; eighteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved hunting, fishing and driving his big truck.
Pallbearers will be Mason Turner, Dalton Turner, Garrette Watkins, Andrew Boswell, Luke Bell and Scott Deavours.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ellis, Hospice of West Alabama, The Brown Bag, Michelle Ratliff, Rex "Buddy" and Brenda Toler and Crosstie Stone and Supply.
