She was born to Dezirae Dodson and Chris Scruggs on October 2, 2020. Ella Rose brought so much joy to those who knew her. Ella is survived by her mother, Dezirae Dodson; brother, Braxton Dodson; sister, Kaylynn Scruggs; grandparents, Gaither Dodson and Michelle Miller and Johnnie and Tracy Scruggs; aunt and uncles, Johnny Scruggs, Dustin and Amy Scruggs (Rylee), Ashley Scruggs, Elizabeth and J.B. Hall and Diamond Dodson.
She is preceded in death by her father, Chris Scruggs, and grandmothers, Rita Kay Smith and Nikki Dodson.
A visitation for Ella Rose will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. Her final resting place will be at Pate Cemetery in Buhl, Alabama.
