Elma Rose Williams was born on November 2nd, 1929 and passed away peacefully at Glen Haven Nursing Home on February 22nd, 2024 at the age of 94. She was born to Hattie and Baughn Ambrose Truelove and married John Beaufort Williams on July 29th, 1950.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Brandi Pamplin Parker (Mark) and two grandsons, Joel B. and Gregory P. Parker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Williams, a daughter, Dorothy Williams Pamplin, a granddaughter, Kelly Jo Pamplin and a host of other relatives.
Mrs. Williams was employed by Gulf States Paper Company, First Baptist Church Nursery and several families as their longstanding protective babysitter.
A graveside service will be held at Williamson Cemetery in Northport at 10:30 on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Coker First United Methodist Church. Arrangements will be provided by Sunset Funeral Home.
