

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday November 29,2018 at Sunset Brown Funeral Home, 3802 Watermelon Road, Northport Alabama with Brother Tony Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends one prior to service (10:00 am). Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
Sham Cunningham was born January 23,1931 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, whittling, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by five children Robbie (Gary) Cassidy, Kenny (Tresha) Cunningham, Regina (Jimmy) Watkins, Renee (Wayne) Howse and Ronda (Tim) Odom. His seven Grandchildren Heath (Karen) Salser, Kevin (Melissa) Watkins, Jimmy Wayne (Tabitha) Watkins, Bradley Cunningham, Wayne (Jodee) Howse, Kimberly Odom and Wyatt (Morgan) Odom. His seven sisters, Christine, Betty, Ruth, Iris, Beveline, Janice and Teresa. Eight greatgrandchildren, Michaela (Brandon)White, Meagan (Dylan) Cherry, Gracie Watkins, Tucker Watkins, Will Spots, Emma Watkins, Lyla Meyers, Miles Watkins and Carter Howse. One great-great grandchild Ava Renee White.
He is proceeded in death by his loving parents Perry Robertson Cunningham Sr. and Theo Frances Cunningham of Tuscaloosa. His brothers Perry Robertson” Bunt”, Frank, Calvin, Vaughn Dee, and Grandson Joshua Howse.
He was the kindest most loving man you would ever meet, he opened his heart and home to many over his 87 years, he was truly loved by all who knew him.
Our Daddy will be greatly missed but, we must let him go, he is now content and has made his way home to be with the Lord.
