Henry Milton Spain, age 95, of Tuscaloosa, died July 9, 2012. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Michael Powell officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie T. Spain.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda A. Brown; his son, William E. Spain; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was a lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa and Pickens counties.
Pallbearers will be William Spain, John Spain, Charles Spain, James Powell, Kevin Dunn, and Jerry Turner.
Honorary pallbearers are Mike Turner, the Yellow Creek community and volunteer fire department, Sansing Country Home, Juanita Colvin, Easter MaaCaw, Joynedda Gilkey, Shay Colvin, Jessica Crowell, Antheria Smith, Mary Fuller, and Tammy Kent.
