Jacklin was preceded in death by her father James Moreland Sr. and her mother Dorothy Moreland. Jacklin is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary R Wendt.; her sons Jason Wendt (Amy) of New Port Richey, FL; Garrett Wendt (Juli) of Rochester, NY; Jeremy Wendt (Christie) Coker, AL; Micah Wendt (Emily) of Bremen, AL; her daughters Valery Hill (Micah) Northport, AL; and Vicki McDonald (Christopher) of Duncanville. She also had 13 grand-children who she loved greatly.
Jackie started her faith at a young age and grew into the beautiful spiritual matriarch of her family. She married her childhood sweetheart, Gary Wendt, on December 16th, 1967. Through all of life's challenges, their 55 years of marriage taught their children and grandchildren the importance and beauty of honoring one's spouse through all of life's seasons.
Despite Jackie's incredible medical struggles, she lived a life of victory!
She was the anchor that steadied her family. While some may have seen her life circumstance as a roadblock to joy, her relentless mantle of love, prayer, and dedication built an inheritance of strength, boldness, and healing for everyone she touched. The world may have seen her as fragile, but she lived a life filled with the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ. Her legacy is one of pure trust and reliance on our Savior.
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
