He is survived by his brother, Mitchell Bagwell along with may nieces, nephews, and other loved ones. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanne Little Bagwell, his parents, Emanuel and Lily Bagwell, and his sister, Kathleen Spencer.
He was employed by Coca-Cola Bottling Company until retirement. James was a devoted Christian and a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. He Loved the Lord and will be deeply missed
A visitation for James will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, located at 3802 Watermelon Road, Northport, AL 35473, on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Sunset Memorial Park at 2:30 pm.
