NORTHPORT | James “Jimmy” Mills, age 72, of Northport, died Feb. 4, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Flatwoods Baptist Church with Cecil Smith and Tim Tindle officiating. Burial will follow in Flatwoods Baptist Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Hollingsworth Mills of Northport; children, Susan Mills Guin (Edd) of Coker, Alan Mills (Vilera) of Decatur, and Pam Mills Gray (Jamie) of Guin; grandchildren, Joey (Lacey Mardis, Fiance) and Jake Guin, Brandon Mills, Jessica Mills Hallford (Hoyt), Lauren Thomas (Adam), Abbie Pike, Ashley and Andrew Gray; and great-grandson, Moses Hallford.
Pallbearers will be Flatwoods Baptist Deacons and John Guin.
Honorary pallbearers are Tuscaloosa Internal Medicine, physicians, nurses and staff at Spine Care, and Hospice of West Alabama.
Flowers are welcome or one may make a donation to Hospice of West Alabama.
