James McIntosh

James is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Willard McIntosh and Jewel Smitherman McIntosh; son, James Clifton (Cliff) McIntosh; siblings, Mary Church, Debra Dodd, and Virginia DeRamus. Surviving family members include; daughter, Diane Henderson (Tony); brother, Glenn McIntosh; grandchildren, Allison Henderson Mello (Forest), Matthew Henderson (Nathalia), three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. James’s special friends include Peggy Gilbert, Randy Morris, Candy and Gene Thomas and family, Teresa and Ronnie Hannah and family, David, James, Roy and Jerome Gann.

James served 24 honorable years in the military including US Marine Corps, US Army and US National Guard between the years of 1960-1984. James was employed as a carpenter for the University of Alabama for over 20 years and worked in construction. James enjoyed fi shing, traveling and fooling with horses. He enjoyed sitting and talking with other veterans, especially about Vietnam.

A graveside service for James will be held at Sunset Memorial Park on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Ray Hollman officiating.
