James Albert Sanford, age 66, of Elrod, Al passed away January 22, 2022 at DCH in Tuscaloosa, Al. Services will be at 11:00am, Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home with John Nixon officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Janie Sanford; sister, Judy Hamner. Survivors include his beloved, Kimberly Dawn; daughter, Michele Sanford; sons, David Sanford(Whitney) and Carl Sanford(Jennifer); sisters, Glynda Simpson(Reggie) and Patsy Murphy(Mike); and 9 grandchildren.
James loved the outdoors, gardening, and flowers. He was also a great cook.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Sanford, Andrew Sanford, Keith Simpson, David Taylor, Mike Taylor, and Roger Busch.
