Services will be 1:00pm Friday November 6, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Darron Pollard Officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Dean Wesson, parents Bill and Maxine Moore Wesson, and brother Stephen Earl Wesson.
Survivors include his daughter Patricia Michelle Wesson (Segars), Son Derrick Michael Wesson, Sisters Barbara Lynn Dement (Rodger), Linda Kay Hollis (Ken), Fern Darlene Bartlett, Brothers Billy Wayne Wesson, Jimmy Gordon Wesson, grandchildren Jimmy Lee Skinner, Samantha Michele Segars, and great granddaughter Olivia Ann Skinner.
He served two tours in Vietnam in the U.S. Marine Corp., he was a member of Masonic lodge #281, and he retired from Ox bodies trucking company after 35 years and fourteen million miles. He loved riding his Harley, fishing, building birdhouses, and singing and playing the guitar.
