Jessie L Crawford

ELROD – Jessie L. Crawford, age 80, of Elrod, Ala., died September 5, 2016, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Dunn’s Creek Baptist Church with Mark Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Dunn’s Creek Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Crawford and grandson, Logan Cade Crawford.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Crawford (Melissa) and Mitchell Crawford (Leslie); sister, Faye Bishop; brother, Bob Hall; grandchildren, Ashley Cooper, Dakota Holemon (Tyler), Joey Jones, Hannah Stapp, Josh Willingham; and great-grandchild, Luci Holeman.

Jessie Crawford loved the Lord. She was a faithful servant who served the Lord as a Sunday school teacher for 40 plus years. She loved her church family.

She was a prayer warrior. Her prayers seemed to move Heaven and touch the hearts of people and tears would flow. She was a one of a kind mom, always caring, loving, giving and putting others before herself. She will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers will be Jason Mullenix, Joey Mullenix, Evan Wood, Billy Patton, Tyler Holeman and Chance Noland.
