

Jimmy Lee Frazier, age 65, of Tuscaloosa, died April 22, 2011, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hardin Kizziah and Rev. Barry Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Monday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence “Bubba” Frazier; his mother, Mary Chunn; and his half-sister, Doty Wheat.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie; his daughters, Courtney Fulmer, Danielle Cannon, Anita Ray, Angie Scrivner (Tony), Sonya McCracken (Jason), and Tawanna Collins; his sons, Steven Fulmer, Eugene Quimby, and Adam Frazier; his sister, Martha Snipes (Joe); his brother, Donald Frazier (Deborah); special brother, Ken Miksis; his grandchildren, Sarah Scrivner, Cody McCracken, Curtis Scrivner, Stormy Scrivner, Dennis Davison, Jonathan, Allen, Jeremy, and Becka; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a Vietnam veteran, a member of the American Legion Honor Guard and a past Commander. He was former Fire Chief of Yellow Creek and Piney Woods Volunteer Fire Departments. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all. We love you!
Pallbearers will be Tommy Collins, Keith Cunningham, Dennis Davidson, David Cunningham, Mark Hoobler, Jeff Meadows, Cody McCracken, and James Meadows.
Honorary pallbearers are Christy Bowdin, Kay Lary, Deanna Williams and other staff at Alacare Hospice, Tommy Collins and family, Wiley Fire Department, Clara Cunningham and family, friends of Piney Woods and Yellow Creek communities, the Sixth Alabama Calvary Reenactment Unit, Tuscaloosa County Fire Association, and Susan Pace Hamill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wiley Volunteer Fire Department.
