She worked at DCH baby nursery and at Debra Knit. She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church for 65 years. Her husband Guy was a deacon and Sunday School teacher of the 5th and 6th grade boys and she served in the church nursery for many years rocking many babies, who are now all adults.
She enjoyed: church softball (where she was usually the pitcher), collecting dolls, square dancing, family vacations and trips, hosting card parties with friends at her home, going to flea markets and estate sales, and playing tricks on people for laughs and fun. She was known for her spunk, fun, and her homemade pecan pies. She is now in her eternal heavenly home, celebrating with dear family members and seeing her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Chapel Hill Baptist Church Ladies Senior Adult Sunday School class, friends of Cardinal Street and Smith Acres, and friends and employees of The Landing Assisted Living and Journey Hospice.
