He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, David Carl Hayworth (Brenda); his sister, Betty Rogers; his brother-in-law, Roland Fields.
He is survived by his son John E. Hayworth III (Meredith); his brother, Douglas Hayworth (Darthy); his brother-in-law, Larry Rogers (Elaine); his sister-in-law, Betty Fields; his brother-in-law, Tim Fields (Janice); nieces, and nephews; and other relatives. He is also survived by his 2 grandsons, Riley and Tucker Hayworth.
He was a US Marine and a long-time employee of Hunt Refining Company.
A graveside service will be held December 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, with Tim Fields officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Judes Hospital, United Way, or a favorite charity.
