Joshua is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Jessica Ann Davis, his faithful parents, Randy and Linda Davis, and his beloved siblings, Benjamin Davis (Amanda) and Eryn Davis (Will). He also had great affection for his nieces and nephews: Mason, Alex, Jayden, Amelia, Harrison, Sawyer, Sidney, Lucas, Lila, Harley, Lily Grace and Hudson Each one held a unique place in his heart.
Joshua was the owner and operator of the construction company DC General, which he built alongside his brother, Benjamin. Their shared work brought him great pride and joy. He had a great sense of humor and a special love for music, as well. He performed locally for many years, before his musical passion ultimately led him to his role as worship leader at Cornelius Chapel Baptist Church.
Above all, Joshua lived for the Lord. Serving faithfully as both worship leader and youth director, he used his humor and light as a guide to everyone he encountered. His faith and love for Jesus was evident in every part of his life. Whether through teaching, music, or simply the way he lived each day, Joshua made a lasting impact on countless lives. Even during his illness, he never stopped pointing people to the truth he held most dear:
“It’s all about Jesus”
