NORTHPORT – Joyce Holland, age 81, of Northport, Ala., died November 30, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 7 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Sunset Funeral Home with Scott McQueen officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memory Provider, directing. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Holland.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Vandiver of Northport; son, James Anthony "Tony" Holland of Lafayette, Ga.; grandchildren, Leigh Harris of Northport, Brett Vandiver of Tuscaloosa and Jennifer Holland of Lafayette, Ga.; and great-grandson, Evan Coleman of Northport.
Honorary pallbearers are Northridge Baptist Church Ladies 1 Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
