Kevin Jerome Smith

Kevin Jerome Smith, age 56 of Coker AL passed away December 20, 2022 at his home. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday January 6th at Sunset Funeral Home. Brother James Pugh will officiate the service. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Phillips Chapel Cemetery in Northport at a later date.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Smith; his sister Tina Smith Williams and brother in law Mike Williams; his father Herman Smith and step father Bobby Pearson.

Survivors include his mother Jane Pearson of Northport, step sisters Robin Elliott and Wendy Barrett (Tony). His niece Lacie Williams Edmondson (Jesse), his nephew Jeremy Williams (Beth); Step nieces Nicole Elliott Pearson (PJ), Cescily Barrett Holloway, Chasity Barrett and step nephew Justin Elliott. Step great nieces Cayleigh, Skyler and Blaire Pearson and step great nephew Hayden Holloway.

Kevin was born May 6, 1966 in Tuscaloosa AL and attended Tuscaloosa County High School. He worked in flooring and construction most of his career.

Honorary pall bearers will Frankie Pugh, Jeff Channell, Willie Morton, Ready Ice and Nazareth Primitive Baptist Church.
