Kristi Nance

Kristi Melson Nance, 50, of Tuscaloosa, Al entered her heavenly home on Sunday, February 22, 2026. A visitation will be held at Concord Baptist Church, located in Fayette, Alabama, on February 26, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at the same venue, starting at 11:00 am. with Brother Terry Oswalt Officiating.

Kristi was preceded in death by her father Charles Melson, Northport, AL.

Kristi is survived by her husband, Chris Nance, mother and stepfather, Pat and John Moore of Northport, AL, brother, Brandon Melson, Northport, Al. stepsister Dr. Cindy Bonner, Montgomery, Al stepbrother, Chris Moore, Montgomery, Al. and many family members and friends.

Kristi's faith was important to her. She invited Jesus into her heart to be her Savior at the age of 9 at First Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa, AL. She enjoyed listening to her gospel music every morning.

Some of Kristi's favorites: her Blue Steel Yorkie, Stella, who was her constant companion and they loved each other unconditionally, dolphins, jewelry (especially rings ), Bath and Body Works products and candles, Popcorn Shrimp and Red Velvet Cake, which was very favorite.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Melson, Ben Hamner, Check Swindle, Stan Odom, Rod Parker, and Jammy Shows.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial be made to your favorite charity, church or The American Diabetes Association.
