L. B. was born May 24, 1940, to L. V. and Beulah Smith.
Visitation for L B will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a graveside service at 11:00 am at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Terrell Jones officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L. V. and Beulah Smith and sisters, Betty Hannah and Marie Hallman; brother, Elmer Smith, and grandson, Jacob Crowe.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jeannette Smith; daughter, Lisa Crowe (Billy); son, Todd Smith; grandchildren, Brandon Crowe (Kelly), Rayna Pinion, Chase Stallings, Kristian Smith, and Jessica Smith; five great-grandchildren; brother, James Smith (Judy) and sister-in-law, June Smith.
L. B. was retired from Buffalo Rock (Pepsi) after working many years there. After retirement, he enjoyed meeting with his group of friends for coffee daily at Jack's. Throughout his life, he purchased and sold cars. His love for antique cars was well known among his family and friends. L. B. found joy in trying new restaurants throughout town.
