Ladew Hall age 83 of Northport, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, September 9, 2021. Ladew was born in Berry, Alabama July 1, 1938.
He was a 1955 graduate of Berry High School. Ladew worked at and retired from Jim Walter Resources #4 in Brookwood, Alabama in 1998.
Ladew loved making those around him happy. He would always take time to play ball, watersports, fishing, and golf, especially with kids. He was referred as “pa,”“dewbaby” or uncle Dew to many, as he loved them all as his own.
Ladew was preceeded in death by his father J.E. Hall (Margie), mother Loyal Collins (Wyman), sister- Bonnie Hall Bigham, and daughter Donna Hall Richardson.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Shirley Haynie Hall, sisters Lynda Holt, Syble Tierce, and Beth Hall, daughter Marsha Trice (Jimmy), son-in-law Mike Richardson, grandsons Hunter Richardson (Jana), Garrett Rainey (Kaylia), Chase Rainey, Rob Richardson (Mccall), Tucker Trice (Savana), and Nolan Trice, two great-granddaughters and five great-grandsons, multiple in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Hunter Richardson, Garrett Rainey, Chase Rainey, Jay Rice, Ronnie Rowland, and Marc Sherrill.
Visitation will be at Sunset Funeral Home in Northport at 1:00 PM Monday, September 13, 2021 with Celebration of Life Service following at 2:00 PM.
