Lee Griffin Fulmer, age 84, of Northport, Alabama, passed away at home on January 30, 2019 surrounded by her beloved children.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Arbor Springs BaptistChurch. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Massie Lee Griffin, Mobile, Alabama, brother William Diego Griffin, Sr. and husbands Wilbert Neil Nichols, Sr. and Gross Scruggs. She leaves behind the joys of her life, her children: Wilbert Neil Nichols, Jr. (Jeanie), Jennifer Nichols Dunn (Brady), and Lisa Scruggs Averette. Grandchildren Toby Nichols, John Paul Nichols (Kelly), Katharine Dunn Gurganus (David), Christopher Dunn (Alisha), Stephen Averette (Taylor), Ryan Averette (Kassidy). Great Grandchildren: Lillie Nichols, Jessica Nichols Galloway (Shane), Zoe Nichols, Aaron Reed, Alex Dunn, Tyler Champion. Great great-grandson, Grant Galloway. Brothers George Thomas Griffin, Jr. (Glenda) Mobile, AL, Dwight Griffin (Glenda) Mobile, AL and sister Faye Griffin Worsham, Baton Rouge, La. Life-long dearest friend: Mary Louise Williams.
Honorary Pallbearers, Alabama Hospice Care, Terri Payne and special caregiver Kelsey Turner.
Mother had a deep and abiding faith in God. She believed in hard work and dedicated her life to loving and caring for others.
