Levenia was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Smith, sisters Sarah Beavers and Anita Thigpen.
She was survived by her husband of 65 years Leland Channell, daughters Diane Channell and Sue Anders(Ronnie), grandchildren Brian Anders(Christy) and Kaci Massey (Dax), great grandchildren John Leland Anders and Lily James Anders, brothers William Smith and Rondel Smith(Betty), sisters Louise Alberson(Gene),Dorothy Penton, Dessie McCord and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a one hour visitation prior to the Funeral on Monday, April 12 at 11am at Northwood Hills Baptist Church in Northport. Burial will follow at Cornelius Baptist Church cemetery in Buhl Alabama. Rev. Rusty Selman and Rev. George Shaddix will lead the service.
Pallbearers will be Dax Massey, Brian Anders, Gene Booth, Ronald Anders, Wade Gilliam, Jimmy Thigpen, Johnnie Thigpen, Gary Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers are Deacons of Northwood Hills Baptist Church, Dr Larry Skelton and Staff, DCH 5 North Nursing Staff, Hospice of West Alabama, Paulette Woods and staff of Crown and Glory Beauty Shop, Joy Sunday School class at NHBC, Sipsey Valley Volunteer Fire Dept.
In lieu of flowers make donations to Northwood Hills Baptist Church or to Hospice of West AL.
