Lula M. Causey

NORTHPORT | Lula Mae Causey, age 86, of Northport, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2015, in Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Rusty Selman and Chaplain Damon Rose officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Samuel Causey; parents, Samuel and Rosa Hamner; and infant brother, Johnny.

Survivors include her husband, Pearson Lester "Jack" Causey; daughter, Debbie Causey Holder (Comer) of Foley, Ala.; sons, Tony L. Causey (Debbie) of Northport, Ala. and Gerald Causey of Northport, Ala.; and daughter-in-law, Tracy Causey of Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Mrs. Causey was a lifelong resident of Northport, Ala. She was employed as the switchboard operator with The First National Bank. She was a loving mother and homemaker.

Pallbearers will be Don Williams, Joe Bridges, Royce Kirkland and Mike Overton.

Honorary pallbearers are members of the Northwood Hills Baptist Church, staff of Amedisys Home Health Services and a special thanks and appreciation for the loving care she received.
