To Nell children I am so sorry for your loss. Nell and I were very good friends when we were growing up. We went to the same church together. The Assembly Of God in Fayette. Her Dad led the singing. She was always a sweet girl and I am sorry now that we didn't stay in touch. Heaven has gained a jewel.

      I first met Margie around the fall of 1981. Paul and his sister were just babies. She and my Dad, George Phillips, were "dating". They married January 4, 1989. After just over a year they divorced but remained very good friends. Dad passed away on September 27, 2010 and I talked with Margie shortly after that. She was still living in her home, her memories clear but she had difficulty verbalizing the exact words she wanted to say because of the effects that Alzheimers had on her. I regret that I did not take the time to visit her like I told her I would, but I know that I am forgiven because now that her memories are once again clear she knows that I still have fond thoughts and memories of her as well. To Misty - I know you still see Sarah and Jimmy every so often. I was looking through some old pictures not long ago and the one of you and Sarah standing in front of that giant turtle shell made me smile and wish that we could go back and share all the fun we had that summer. Please stay in touch and call, our number is in the phone book.
     Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I just want to say how very sorry we were to hear the news of Nell's passing.  Your entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers today and in the days to come.  It is never easy to give up a loved one. I love each and every one of you.  That is what a" Nichols" does best.  Love from Ann New Chandler and family.

Nell and I went to elementary/high school together. I have very fond memories of our time spent together. She was a very dear friend to me, as well as, to many 1961 FCHS graduates. She was loved by all.

I wish her family my deepest sympathy. And may Nell continue to live within your hearts.
