Our mother was a Christian, loved the Lord with all her heart, and lived her life to the fullest as an example to her family and friends. She never met a stranger and was one of the most thoughtful and caring women you could ever meet. She had the gift of hospitality and she shared that gift with everyone. Known for her cooking, she fed all she came in contact with. “Her children rise up and call her blessed”. She will be greatly missed, but is celebrating in Heaven with a new body and a new mind.
Pall bearers are her grandsons; Joey, Keith, Kevin, Scott, and Cory Sexton and DJ Mosley.
Honorary pallbearers are members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, members of Indian Lake Baptist, friends and neighbors of Watermelon Road community, employees of DCH Regional Medical Center, employees of the City of Tuscaloosa Repair shop, employees of Hunt Refining, employees of Tuscaloosa Surgical Center, Linda Morrison and family, Madalene Cunningham and family, Jimmy and Sharon Burns, Joe Mills, Norma Jean Ball, Grace Benton and family, Mary Brewer and family, Sherell Nabors, Lamar and Ann Gray, Robert and Derendell Turner, Ken and Doris Holman, Frank and Evelyne Smelley, and a host of friends and family too many to list.
