Mauline M. Cunningham

NORTHPORT | Mauline Montgomery Cunningham, age 89, of Northport, died October 11, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Wednesday at the church one hour prior to services.

She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Montgomery Sr.; mother, Velma Curl Montgomery; son, David Lee Cunningham; and husband Robert Lee Cunningham.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda K. Cunningham of Tuscaloosa, and her son, Larry G. Cunningham (Janet) of Sugar Land, Texas; grandchildren, Dean Jones (Laurie), Tina Mickelson (Jeremy), Jemma Cunningham, Steven Cunningham (Laura); great-grandchildren, Reilly Jones, Stella Jones, Van Mickelson, Bo Mickelson, and Colin Cunningham; sisters, Bessie Smith and Myree Galloway.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed playing the piano at various churches and honoring the Lord with her talent.

Pallbearers will be Michael Cunningham, Gary Galloway, Billy Galloway, Doug Kennedy, Arnie Lary and Robert Sullivan.
