Nathaniel Autho Rogers, age 63, of Tuscaloosa, died Sept. 3, 2010, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Dockery officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence A. Rogers.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Rogers; daughter, Darlene Latham (Pat); sons, Anthony Rogers, Harold Rogers (Sara) and Tony Simpson (Melinda); mother, Evelyn B. Rogers; sister, Diane Leach (Gerald); and grandchildren, Brad Latham, Patricia Latham, Kasee Rogers, Baylee Rogers and Zach Simpson.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Leach, Pat Latham, Brad Latham, Larry Hall, Jimmy Redd, Walter Davies, Jack Parson and Reggie Hulsey.
Honorary pallbearers are Stan and Shirley Vines, members of Southen Wheels Car Club, former leaders and members of Troop 89 Scouts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation .
