AKRON – Orvest Terry "Temo" Burroughs, age 60, of Akron, died August 26, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Pate Cemetery with David Kelly officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Montgomery Burroughs.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Burroughs; sons, Steven Burroughs (Brooke) and Lee Burroughs (Lydia); sisters, Linda Hicks (Ken) and Brenda Lindsey (Edward); brother, Barry Burroughs (Amanda); mother, Mavies Burroughs; and grandchildren, Addyson and Easton Burroughs and J. R. and Andi Reach.
Pallbearers will be David Farris, Randy Farris, Jerry Lancaster, Gene Kent, Bob Williams, Julius Pate, Mack Taylor and Carl Spurgin.
Honorary pallbearers are Lock 8 friends, Hospice of West Alabama and Tunes for Terry friends and family.
