Ottis W. Strickland

Celebration of Life services will be held on March 18, 2021 at Union Grove Baptist Church Buhl AL at 11:00 am with Brother David Kelly officiating, family will receive friends one hour prior.

He is survived by his children Denise (Ken) Burns, Tina (Larry) Wilburn and Jerome Strickland, grandchildren Kristy Lowery, Kasey Simpson and Lynn Chadwick, great-grand children Savannah, Nickole, Brantley, Margie Rose, Addilyn, Calynn and Henley, sisters Dean Gilliland, Betty Oliver and brother Tim Strickland.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Margie Strickland, parents Edgar and Annadora Strickland and step mom Geneva Strickland, brothers Bobby Gene and Edgar Leland Strickland.

Pallbearers Jr. and Frank Marcum, Adam Simpson, Eric Murray, Dennis Strickland and Ken Lowery.

He was a loving Dad and grandfather and loved to deer hunt and fish. He was well known for cooking his family Sunday lunch after church and the best desserts. We will forever miss you.
