Pamela Jean Corley Robinson, age 61, of Northport, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2026, in her hometown. Born on December 14, 1964, in Tuscaloosa, Pamela lived a life filled with love, creativity, and devotion to her family and community.
Pamela is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Ritchie Hank Robinson; two daughters, Angelica Robinson Brown (Andrew Brown) and Jerrika Suezzann Robinson; and two cherished grandchildren, Landyn Eliza Brown and Logan Kenneth Brown. She also leaves behind her sisters Paula Corley Hyche and Penny Corley Hyche; sister-in-love Kimberly Albright Nix (Tim Nix); in-laws Patrick Robinson (Staci) and Phil Robinson (Becky); and mother-in-law Judy Robinson. Pamela was a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry Corley and Patricia Ann Corley of Cottondale; father-in-law Jerry Robinson; as well as several special aunts and uncles who held a dear place in her heart.
Pamela dedicated 25 years of her career to the Tuscaloosa County Child Nutrition Program, ensuring that no child went hungry under her care. For the last 16 years of her tenure, she served as the manager of Faucett Vestavia Elementary's lunchroom, where she made it her mission to feed every child every day, regardless of their circumstances. We are forever grateful to Mrs. Genea Monroe for blessing her with that opportunity. Her compassion and dedication left an indelible mark on countless lives. Pamela retired in 2024 after a fulfilling career and looked forward to spending her days helping others and enjoying time with her loved ones. She lovingly cared for her Aunt Paulette before her passing and, most recently, devoted herself to caring for her mother-in-law, Judy Robinson.
Pamela’s life was enriched by the hobbies she loved most. She adored spending time with her precious grandchildren—her pride and joy—and could often be found riding through the neighborhood with them on a golf cart in search of “trash-to-treasures.” Pamela had a passion for crafts and quilting, enjoyed exploring family history through Ancestry.com discoveries, and found peace walking along ocean shores collecting seashells. She treasured camping trips, boating adventures with Ritchie and their dogs Oaklie Ann, Willow, and Hank, as well as quiet moments spent together by the water.
A wonderfully creative woman with a servant’s heart, Pamela was always ready to lend a hand wherever needed. She was deeply devoted to her family—her role as wife, mother, Granna, sister, aunt, and friend brought immense joy to those around her. Her grandchildren were everything to her; she never missed an event or game they participated in. Pamela’s love for life and kindness shone brightly through all she did.
May Pamela Jean's memory bring comfort to all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, creativity, and unwavering devotion will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be missed dearly. A Memorial Service led by Chris Whitaker will be held on March 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM , with visitation at 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home, 3802 Watermelon Rd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Metro Animal Shelter or Tuscaloosa Academy in honor of Pamela Jean Robinson.
