Patricia Ann Hager

COKER | Patricia Ann Hager, age 74, of Coker, died June 23, 2014, at Glen Haven Nursing Home. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Sunset Funeral Home with Greg Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hager; parents, James and Alma Jackson; and brother, Jimmy Jackson.

Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn Davis (Mike) of Northport; sister, Judy Gray (Jack) of Coker; and grandchildren, Landen, Cassie and Hayden Davis of Northport.

Patricia was born on May 28, 1940 in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to the late James and Alma Jackson. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was a former employee of Bryce Hospital, Tuscaloosa News Circulation Department and ST Bunn Construction.

Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She always wanted a house full of family and friends. She always wanted anyone who came to her home to feel welcome and to have plenty to eat.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Duckworth, Patton Barnes, Junior Marcum and Frank Marcum.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Buettner, Dr. Berry, Dr. Hill, Amedisys Home Health, Jan Booth, staff of Glen Haven Rehab and Glen Haven Nursing Home Stations 3 and 4, Martinview Assisted Living, Hospice of West Alabama and friends of the Coker community.
