Raymond Maddox

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Ellen Maddox.

Survivors include his daughters, Angie Nipper (Daniel) and Ashley Cooper (Tony Fife); sisters, Glenda Marler (Joe), Anne Gray (Lamar), Billie Whitehead, and Mary Payne (Lee); brothers, Buck Maddox and Roger Maddox; grandchildren, JD Nipper (Casey), Hunter Nipper, Maddie Nipper, Reagan Fife and Wyatt Fife and numerous nieces and nephews.

Raymond was a carpenter by trade and took great pride in his work. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, tending to his horses and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was also a very devoted daddy and paw-paw. Raymond had extraordinary patience and a heart of gold. He will be truly missed. He resided at Aspire of West Alabama and the family would like to extend a special thank you for the love and care they provided.

A Celebration of Life for Raymond will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 3802 Watermelon Road, Northport, Alabama 35473.
