Rosa Ann Mills, age 88, died August 25, 2012, at Heritage Nursing Home in Northport. Funeral services and burial will be at Corinth Baptist Church August 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. with Dr. Carl Wells officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Sunset Funeral Home will be directing services.
Born June 21, 1924, she was raised in Elrod, Ala. She and her husband built a successful farm in Coker, Ala. where they raised their six children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Morrine Tilley; her husband, Adrian Mills; her brother, Jack Tilley; and her sister, Mary Ellen Champion.
She is survived by her children, Robbie Mills (Sue) of Hemphill, Texas, Joe Mills of Coker, Ala., Pam Kirkley (Steve) of Coker, Ala., Wanda Strickland (Steve) of Coker, Ala., Brazzie Mills (Jim Howell) of Playa del Rey, Calif., and Jean Mills (Carol Eichelberger) of Coker, Ala.; her brothers, John Tilley (Brenda) and Wes Tilley; her sister, Jessie Tilley; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
