Rosie Lorene Hodges, age 93, of Northport, died March 13, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Springer and Rev. Allan Roggli officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Jefferson Memorial Gardens South with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hodges; her son, Edward Hodges; her parents; brothers; and sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Lonett Collins (Sam) and Dorthy Schaetzle; daughter-in-law, Carol Anne Hodges; six grandchildren, Kim Lyle (Steve), Eddie Hodges (Ann), Mike Schaetzle (Ann), Beth Simon (Andy), James Schaetzle (Lindsay), Sharon Carter; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
