Sarah Nell Hall

BUHL | Sarah Nell Hall, age 78, of Buhl, died April 24, 2015, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. today, April 27, 2015, at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Buhl, Ala., with Bro. Gene Dockery officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, A Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will immediately follow services at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hall, and daughter, Michelle Hall Channell.

She is survived by her daughters, Janice Darden (Dave) of Northport, Ala. and Vicky Goodwin of Buhl, Ala.; sister, Carol Vaughn (Wade) of Coker, Ala.; grandchildren, David Goodwin (Brandee) of Marianna, Fla., Carrie Darden Tidwell (Tracy) of Opelika, Ala., Lori Darden Rowland (Brandon) of Northport, Ala., Ashley Darden Austin (Riley) of Northport, Ala., Jason Darden of Atlanta, Ga., Brad Channell (Alicia) of Alabaster, Ala., and Haley Channell Fincher (Adam) of Buhl, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Kelsey, and Lily Kate Austin, Aiden Tidwell, Tyler and Sara White, and Bethany and Joseph Rowland.

Mama was a faithful member of Corinth Baptist Church in Elrod, Ala., until our father's health and her health would no longer permit it. She loved to sing in the church choir, and with her daughters and granddaughters. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Pallbearers will be David Goodwin, Jason Darden, Brad Channell, Riley Austin, Brandon Rowland, and Adam Fincher.

Honorary pallbearers are Corinth Baptist Church Family, employees of Phifer, Inc., family and friends of Buhl community, employees of Hospice of West Alabama.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama, Corinth Baptist Church Building Fund, or one's favorite charity.
