Services will be 12 noon, Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Lamkin Memorial Baptist Church with Brad Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Lamkin Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider will be directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the noon service.

Survivors include her daughters, Betty W. Mcgee (Red) and Cathy W. Griffith (Willie) of Bellamy; sons, Tom Williams of Bellamy and Jimmy Williams (Susan) of Lamison; grandchildren, Kevin Williams, Cliff Williams, Leigh Williams, Kristi Stokes, Jamie Williams, Beth Erickson, and Emilee Griffith. Sarah was blessed with 10 great-grandchildren. She was known as Nanny to her own grands and greats and many of the children in the community.

She was born on June 25, 1930 in Boligee, Alabama but grew up in Tuscaloosa.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Williams, Cliff Williams, Jason Stokes, Ben Erickson, Red McGee and Willie Griffith.

Honorary pallbearers with be members of Siloam Baptist Church and Lamkin Memorial Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donation to Siloam Baptist Church.
