

Scarlette Dawn Kyzer Sullivan, age 69, passed from this life on Sunday, December 23, 2018, in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Scarlette was a housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She loved to bake, for and with anyone, sew, especially for the Wise girls’ weddings, crochet, dance, and laugh.
Scarlette was born to Sherman Fletcher Kyzer and Bessie Bell Cannon on October 4, 1949 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. She married Jack on October 7, 1967 and they remained married for 50 years.
Scarlette is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman Fletcher Kyzer and Bessie Bell Cannon, and her brother Robert Charles Lambert, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Sullivan, Sr.; Children, Jack Sullivan, Jr., Rachell Janette Pyle, Michael Earl Sullivan, and Jennifer Lynn Blankenship; Sisters: Bella Marie Lambert, Della Sue Lowery, Helen Antoinette Lambert- Elliott, and Ellen Bernadette Bowman; 13 Grandchildren: Aaron Carson, Amber LeeAnn, Evie Denise, Whitney Grace, Jessica Rashelle, Christian Monique, Tyler Blake, Daniel Malachi, Brent Michael, Ethan Jack, Logan Samuel, Emaleigh Jade, Harmanie Faith; and 10 Great Grandchildren: Timothy Daniel, Emmalyn Brook, Kenslee Louise, Danielle Susan, Erika Evie, Carlos Alonzo, Aiden Tirrell, Aaliyah Marie, Raynn Anne, and Aayden Colt.
A celebration of Scarlette’s life is scheduled at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home, 3802 Watermelon Road, Northport, Alabama, with interment at Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m., at the funeral home Saturday. All are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
Pallbearers will be Jack Sullivan, Jr., Michael Sullivan, Aaron Fisher, Daniel Blankenship, Tyler Sullivan, and George “Bud” Myers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Pyle and Ryan Martin.
