

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Modie Keeth, John Cary Thomas and Velma Lynn Thomas; her parents, Rev. Dewey and Ruby Thomas; brother Jerry D. Thomas, daughter, Jessica Lee Farley, and her special aunt, Bernice Colburn.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, James (J.W.) Farley; sister, Sandra T. Sharp (Mike); brother, Jimmy C. Thomas (Opal); three step-daughters, Tracy Lindsey (Jody), Tammy Kizziah (Charlie), Emily Corkerin (Lee); ten grandchildren, Jade, Desi, Sadie, Delana, Elbie, James-Dawson, Chaz, Radlee, Jett, and Benlee, eight nieces, three nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
Sharon was a devoted wife to her husband, James (J.W.) Farley, and a loving mother to her late daughter, Jessica. She dedicated her life to caring for Jessica, ensuring she was surrounded with love, comfort, and joy every day. Sharon’s strength and devotion as a mother reflected the depth of her love and dedication to her family. She was a member of Shepherd’s Way Christian Church. She was loved by the congregation and will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Sharon will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 am with Bro. Larry Colburn officiating. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Tommy Phillips, Jason Thomas, Jody Lindsey, Charlie Kizziah, Lee Corkerin, and James-Dawson Kizziah. Honorary pallbearers are Shepherd’s Way Christian Church, TCHS class of 1977, Agape Care Group (ACG Hospice) attending staff, Doctors James Geyer, Jeanne Lipscomb and Debra Davis, and close friends Jan Cannon, Wanda Eubanks and Jill Keasler.
