TUSCALOOSA – Sherry Kay Pate Paris, age 61, of Tuscaloosa, died June 21, 2016. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2016, at Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar C. Pate and mother, Kathleen Burkhalter Pate.Survivors include her husband, Roger L. Paris; sons, Sean A., Darrin C. and Todd G. Paris; brother, Donald Gene Pate; and six grandchildren.Sherry was a graduate of Holt High School and a member of Carbon Hill Church.Pallbearers will be Shannon Swiney, Keith McCray, Melvin Hubbard, Officer Cliff Quinn, Tpr. Reginald King, Tpr. John Jones, Tpr. Josh Boody and Tpr. J. B. Harris.Honorary pallbearer is Edgar Calloway.
