Sherry Marie Wheat

NORTHPORT - Sherry Marie Wheat, age 55, of Northport, died January 21, 2017, at Northport Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, 24, 2017, at Corinth Baptist Church with Wayne Duren and Gene Dockery officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her father, Mickey Wheat and grandparents, Hermen and Ethel Wheat and Hoyt and Gladys Coker. Survivors include her sister, Mickey Kelley, brother, Billy Wheat; stepbrother, Ronald Tilley, Jr.; mother, Sylvia Coker Tilley and stepfather, Ronald Tilley, Sr. Sherry was a very humble and unique person who loved everyone. She loved making new friends and spending time talking to them. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She will not suffer anymore. God gave her the ultimate healing. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Kelley, Chris Kelley, Billy Wheat, Clint Duren, Ronald Tilley, Jr., Alex Coker and Danny Robertson. Honorary pallbearers are Corinth Baptist Church, Elrod Baptist Church, Park Manor Nursing Home, and family and friends of Elrod and Buhl communities.
