Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Mae; granddaughter, Rebecca Turberville; grandson, Tim Turberville; and two sons-in-law, Wilson Turberville and Allan Sullivan.Survivors include his daughters, Jackie Watson Sullivan and Judy Watson Turberville; sister, Mary Elizabeth Welch of Houston, Tx.; grandchildren, Jason Sullivan and Scott Turberville; great-grandchildren, Jaidyn Sullivan, Chelsey Clark, and Tristen Burnett; and great-great-grandchild, Landon Clark.He served in the United States Army under Gen. Patton in World War II, fighting in the Invasion of Normandy. After the war, he became employed with the City of Tuscaloosa as an Electrical Engineer, where he retired after 37 years. He was a Deacon of Piney Grove Baptist Church.Pallbearers will be Deacons of Piney Grove Baptist Church.Honorary pallbearers are members of Lake Nicol Community, Nicol Volunteer Fire Dept., Yellow Creek Volunteer Fire Dept., former employees of the City of Tuscaloosa, and current and former members of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
