Stella H. Wallace, age 95, of Northport, died Oct. 25, 2011, at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Rev. Howard B. Castle officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoke Wallace; three sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include her sisters, Cynthia H. Clements and Julia H. Castle; her sister-in-law, Faith Hobson; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wallace taught in the Huntsville School System for 37 years. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church in Tuscaloosa. She loved gardening and her pets.
Pallbearers will be Walter Dean, Bill Wright, Joe Price, Elliott Cunningham, Don Polzin, and Stanley Wallace.
