She was born Sept. 9, 1935, in GA to William T. and Grace M. Murphy. She was retired from DCH Hospital and a member of Little Sandy Baptist Church Tuscaloosa, AL.
She is survived by her daughters, Maria Overstreet (Kirksey), Martha Crabtree and Mary Mount (John); grandchildren, Wendy King (Hansel), Jessie Trotter (Billy), Jamison Blanchard, Jordon Blanchard, Less Crabtree, Buddy Crabtree (Crystal), Brandi Mount and Kari Mount; 12 great children, 5 great-great grandchildren and one brother, Bo Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Hillman; parents, William T. and Grace Murphy; daughter, Margaret G. Montgomery; son, Paul E. Hillman and grandson, Randy Crabtree.
Visitation for Tommie will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm with Rev Ken Myers officiating. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
