She leaves behind her daughter-in-law Kimberly Weeks and her “5th Son” Rick Black (Karen), 9 Grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and her best friend Margie Miller.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and William Young, her husband of 58 years, James Bradshaw, and all four of her sons; Charles Weeks, Ronnie Weeks, Patrick Weeks and Michael Weeks.
Grace moved to Tuscaloosa and worked in the hotel industry for most of her career. From hostess to manager, she was successful in all aspects of the business. She enjoyed reminiscing about her time at the Stafford hotel and Best Western, all of the friends she made, and the famous people she encountered along the way. Grace had a love of community , even having a declaration of “ Grace Bradshaw Day” and receiving the key to the city of Tuscaloosa from the mayor.
Grace leaves a legacy of love to all who knew her and will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She taught us to “get up” when life brings us down. This advice and so much more was heeded and appreciated by all who had the pleasure to spend time with her.
Her family would like to thank Comfort Care and Hospice of West Alabama for her incredible care during her illness.
The family will receive guest on June 17, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home in Northport AL at 12:00pm with the Celebration of Life Graveside Service following.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Hospice of West Alabama.
