Vickie Hall Howard

TUSCALOOSA | Vickie Hall Howard, age 49, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. She was born February 21, 1967.She was a Godly woman, a great wife, mother, sister and daughter. She loved her children and her family. She grew up in Tuscaloosa and graduated from County High. After high school she went on to receive her Finance Degree and later she received her Masters of Accountancy from the University of Alabama. She was also a CPA. She was very passionate in her work. She taught Children's Sunday school for many years at First Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa where she was also a member. She loved spending time with her children, watching her son play baseball and her daughter cheer.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa with Dr. Gil McKee officiating. Burial will follow in Arbor Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Azell Hall and Bill and Ann Hembree.

She is survived by her husband, Rusty Howard; one daughter, Elizabeth Grace "Ellie" Howard; one son, John Nelson Howard; her mother, Carolyn Banks (Dale); her father, George Hall (Linda); two brothers, Jack Hall (Denna) and Jason Hall (Angela); father and mother-in-law, Nelson and Jimmie Howard; one brother-in-law, Barry Howard (Ramsey); seven nieces and nephews, Jackson, Hudson, Ashlyn Hall, Hayden and Hunter Hall and Leah and Emily Howard; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jackson Hall, Hudson Hall, Vince Talley, Gene Talley, Bailey Talley and Bobby Rice.

Honorary pallbearers are Wingo Sunday School Class, Kathy Rice, Northport Health Service employees and Southern Sign Solutions.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in memory of Vickie Hall Howard or to one's favorite charity.

Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
