Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Donald Springer officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
Visitation will be Friday, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Derrill V. and Lucille B. Smith.
Survivors include his sisters, Terrie Smith Mims and Janice Smith Hubbard (Wesley Hubbard); brother, Ken D. Smith; and special friend, Rebecca Taylor. "Vic" was an avid Alabama fan and an employee of B.F. Goodrich Plant for many years.
Pallbearers will be Mike Spruill, Mike Vaughn, Jerry Oakley, Tim Beasley, Wade Warbington and Mike Parker.
