William "Jack" Howell

William is survived by his wife, Marie Lynn Howell; sons Billy Howell (Cathy) and Randall Howell (Joan), grandchildren Meagan Simmons (Dustin), Hannah Howell, Laci Howell, and Kacy Gilliam (Jody) and great grandchildren Nash Gilliam, Chloe Simmons and Ramsey Gilliam.

William was preceded in death by parents William Cecil Howell and DeLois P. Howell.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Sunset Funeral Home with the Celebration of Life Service following with Bro. Terrell Jones officiating. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers are Dustin Simmons, Gib Tannehill, Pat Phillips, Danny Lynn, Bobby Creamer and Mark Odum and Honorary pallbearers' are Dr. Alldredge, Southern Care Hospice, Kelli Hicks, Jordan Fanelli, Cynthia Powers, Cartina Knox and Brittany Patton.

Jack was a lifelong heavy equipment operator for several coal mines in the area. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend valuable time with his family making lasting memories.
