NORTHPORT | Willie Ted Jones, age 69, of Northport, died April 27, 2015, at home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by a daughter, DaLane Jones Swindle and her fiancé, Donnie Leonard; brother, Daniel C. Jones; grandchildren, Brian Swindle (Kathryn), Johnathan Swindle, and Jared Swindle (Katie); great-grandchildren, Jackson, Kennedy, Katelyn, John Ross, Hogan Reed and Mason.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Ken Swindle, Rodney Gilliam, and Lee Swindle.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends and family of the Samantha Community, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Davis, and Alabama Power Company. Until we meet again.
